I think we own 3 box cutters. I finally took the newest one, bright red, and opened the taped seams so the boxes now lie flat. I am thankful that the 14 cardboard boxes, when flattened, all fit in our scrap paper bin. It has been a while since I worked on the accumulated pile. We have arranged for another bunch of boxes of Christmas stuff to arrive at our house over the next couple of weeks. It is nice, relatively quick and convenient to sit at a computer, click on this and that, often following directions of the intended Christmas Day recipient, but a cost of that activity is the accumulation of lots of cardboard and strong tape.
There are often a few boxes in the collection that are white and are not part of gift-giving. They are Lynn's clay boxes, fairly small and sturdily built. Each carries 50lbs. of raw clay.
