too old for such pranks
I can't help it. I feel I have a duty to try at least some little April Fool's joke. The person I meet earliest in the day is my wife, poor loveable target. As I brought her coffee, I tried to use a concerned but not too concerned tone as I said I just couldn't get her computer to start up. Just as my "concern" began to register on her face, I said "April fool!" with satisfaction. There followed a little exclamation. Now, I live in fear.
