Marie Kondo in my drawers

We bought Marie Kondo's "The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up" and we watched all the episodes of her program on Netflix.  Sometimes, the initial look of a crowded, disorderly house is depressing but Marie and her translator (the Japanese woman is not always confident in English) are upbeat and quite experienced.  We have some experience with straightening and decluttering and I know they can make a genuine difference in both attitude and ease of living.

Lynn is a librarian and a professor of school library theory and practice.  She is a tidy housekeeper. Large collections of anything bug her if they haven't been examined, sorted and culled.

This past week, as Lynn folded and put away the laundry, she used the Kondo way of folding each piece of clothing and storing it in a way that gives a view of each item.  She has yet to decide what goes best in with my shorts and undershirts in the newly available space.
