A biggish deal for right-triangles
I learned from Windows news and interests feature that today is a day for Pythagoreans to note. Today's date is 9/16/25. Those three numbers: 9, 16 and 25 are an example of the relation of the legs of a right triangle to its hypotenuse. You remember: A squared plus B squared = C squared. So, a right triangle with a 3 inch side and a 4 inch side will have a hypotenuse of 5 inches, just like you learned back then.
