A handful of decades ago, a little girl was born. I know because I helped launch her.
When she grew into a woman, she married a wonderful man. Ever since then, the two of them have shared life together. The years have sailed by and now they have been together for 40 years.
That is a hefty amount of time. Much has happened in the last 40 years. Daughters were born and grandchildren were born. Careers have been started and some have been completed.
