"The Atlantic Ocean will close"

That's what I read on the Weather Channel app today:"The Atlantic Ocean will close".  What the heck does that mean?  Some bunch of rebels are going to block access ?  No, some scientists or computer models detect a tendency of the tectonic plates beneath Europe and North America to drift toward each other, eliminating the Atlantic ocean.  The process will begin in about 20 million years. Lynn and I agree that we will probably miss it.
