Vitamins, meds & pharmocracy

I am somewhat interested in the history of daily vitamins and meds.  One of our daily medicines is supposed to be taken on an empty stomach and not to involve a meal for an hour.  That and other restrictions and special conditions makes me guess that a highly motivated political party in the future will use people's avoidance of death to further disrupt lives.  I envision "special conditions" that include "this important med is to be taken only with a glass of Ike's Beer between 3 AM and 4AM first day of each month of the year."  I imagine with your powerful imagination, you can cook up other memorable instructions.
