My wife has asked more than once about how old it makes us if our child has reached retirement. She has held a number of different jobs, mostly having to do with either baking or finance. She has waited, a bit impatiently, to be old enough to retire without a penalty in her retirement payments. Now she has reached the required age. I am surprised at the difference it has made in her parents' lives. The newer aspects relate to my wife more than to me.
She and her mother like to play board games together. They enjoy just talking. She lives quite close by.
